Creative Communications Director
Job Description
Overview
The Creative Communications Director ensures that the church’s message is clearly and consistently communicated across all platforms, aligning with the mission, culture, and vision of the Centerpoint Church. This role oversees branding, graphic design, digital content, print media, social media, videography, photography, website, app, social media, and internal/external communications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Direction
Lead the development of creative elements for sermon series, events, and ministries. Maintain visual and brand consistency across all platforms.
Oversee design of print and digital materials (bulletins, invites, signage, merch, etc.).
2. Communications Strategy
Develop and maintain a clear, consistent communication strategy for church-wide messaging.
Manage and update website content and event registration.
Coordinate email newsletters, text alerts, and internal communication tools.
3. Content Creation and Management
Coordinate all Graphic design and marketing. Oversee all Photography and Videography teams. Website and app design and management.
4. Social Media & Online Presence
Create and manage content calendar for social media platforms.
Monitor engagement and analytics to ensure effective reach and alignment Work with video/photo team to post timely, high-quality content.
5. Team Development
Coordinate with volunteers & team members in all elements of creative communication. Provide creative support to other departments as needed (Kids, Students, Events, etc.).
Qualifications
Strong communication, design, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
Experience with social media platforms and web tools like Squarespace or Subsplash Ability to think both strategically and creatively.
Flexible when unexpected changes occur.

Team leaders at Centerpoint:
1. Enlist - Share the vision to help people understand the part they can play in the story. Usually, one on one, face to face recruiting is most effective.
2. Equip - Meet with your team at least once a month. Communicate details often. Make sure they have good tools. Model culture. Reproduce yourself.
3. Encourage - Recognize, reward, give shoutouts, cards, texts...Pray with them. Also encourage them to show up, be on time, use good judgement, etc.
4. Empower - give them authority to oversee parts of the ministry. Let them schedule, organize, make decisions, solve problems, lead.
